Bright advisory office with wooden desks and large windows

Why Cedarside exists

Too many clients arrive with half-finished spreadsheets and unanswered HMRC letters. We set out to offer measured UK financial advice and consulting: scoped consultations, plain-English notes, and fees agreed before work begins.

We are based in Purdywood and meet clients in person or by video across England. Our work stays within tax and related compliance counsel; we do not sell investments or insurance.

How we work with you

Engagements begin with a short scoping call, a document checklist, and a fee confirmation. Advice is grounded in the papers you provide and current UK tax legislation.

Clarity before commitment

You know the consultation length, deliverable, and fee before we open your files. If the matter needs a specialist counsel beyond our remit, we say so early.

Written records

Personal planning and company reviews include a written note you can share with your bookkeeper, solicitor, or board — not a verbal summary alone.

Seasonal pacing

We plan capacity around January Self Assessment peaks and common company year-ends so clients are not left waiting for a reply in the final week.

People you may meet

Advisory work is delivered by experienced tax practitioners; administrative support handles scheduling and document intake.

Values that show up in the work

  • We explain options with numbers attached, not slogans.
  • We keep client affairs confidential and limit access to those working on the engagement.
  • We decline work outside our competence rather than stretching a brief.
  • We respect filing calendars and communicate when a deadline is at risk.
